Overall, this is a well made product. lots of storage space and for the most part the compartments are an appropriate size. I didn't realize there was a separate zippered compartment that is handy for a small tablet, writing paper, etc. There is not a small compartment for pens, pencils. I will probably just add that by sewing a straight seam down one of the large compartments. The mesh compartments are not very efficient as the mesh snags and catches on items as you add or remove them. Also the mesh pockets are not as tall and items did not necessarily fit as well. But maybe if I had items that were not as tall, these would be fine. Will continue to work with organizing my stuff. A reviewer for a similar product (different company) suggested turning that organizer inside out so all the exterior pockets were actually on the inside. I did that and found this to be much more efficient way of storing items. The slippery fabric (which was the interior and is now the exterior when turned inside out) slides in and out of my tote bags and I appreciate the small handles. Don't think I would use this as a separate handbag under any circumstances, but for quickly moving the organizer from one tote to another, works like a charm. Good price and seems well constructed for its purpose. I do recommend you carefully measure the tote, purse or bag you plan to use this inside to make sure it fits.
